Originally born in Cheshire, Cicely juggled teaching, motherhood and studying for a BA then MA in Fine Art in addition to working for Greggs the Baker. She has exhibited her art at various venues within the North-East and worked on private commissions, executing conceptual art works which have been a combination of objects and text. Cicely has also been a member ofWylam Amateur Dramatic Society and has been involved in set design and realisation, costume, acting and writing sketches for reviews.
Since childhood, Cicely has written prose and poetry, mainly for herself with subject matter connected to her experience and usually of a personal and emotional nature.
